HIgh mortality rates among women giving birth has become a major health issue in Afghanistan. More and more children are being left as orphans in the war-torn country. In Afghanistan's eastern town of Faizabad, six orphans are left in the care of their aunt, who feeds them rice and bread. The orphans' mother bled to death while giving birth.
