Palestinian women recount the stories of the Nakba in their villages. The 1948 Palestinian exodus refers to the refugee flight of Palestinian Arabs before and during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war. It is called the Nakba, meaning "disaster," "catastrophe," or "cataclysm," by Palestinians.
