Since her mother died, Punam, a nine-year-od Tamang girl in Nepal has shouldered the responsibility for caring for her two younger siblings. She cooks for them, helps them dress and makes sure they get to school on time. Her father works an 18-hour day to feed his family. An honor killing is the murder of a woman for a supposed sexual, marital, or offense.
